In keeping with the book’s topic, “What Kind of Dog Am I?”, Mrs. Greer did an amazing job getting the students ready for the author Visit. She had the younger students write and draw “What Kind of Kid Am I?” and she had the older children research and document popular dog breeds. She also assisted the older classes in organizing a supply drive in the school to benefit the Momouth County S.P.C.A. The students created posters and other informational material, sent home flyers and collected supplies for the pets in the shelter. Ms. Jenifer Stasik and Kathy DiMario in front of the “Our Forever Home” wall at Osbornville Elementary School. In honor of the author visit, the students were encouraged to bring in pictures of their pets which were displayed on the wall. The theme tied in with Posha’s journey to find her “furever home.”
Thanks to Ms. Swindles for arranging our wonderful author visit to Nokomis and Neeta Schools, Medford Lakes, NJ
We visited the Medford Lakes School District and had a wonderful visit with Kindergarten-4th grade students at Neeta and Nokomis Schools-the students were so engaging and fun- they asked such great questions about what it means to write a book.

Don’t forget to Paws today- Don’t forget tomorrow is the beginning of Daylight Savings Time. I like to follow this little saying “Spring Ahead, Fall Back,” which means in the spring we set our clocks ahead one hour tonight before we go to bed and in the fall we set them back an hour before we go to bed. The good news is that I will have an extra hour to play at the dog-park with my dog-mommy-isn’t that exciting!!!! Here’s me at the dog-park!!!!
